Heartwarming but predictable - The Pursuit of Happyness Reviews

A man with a dream - more or less forced into one but situations he invevitablly put himself into. The story is solid but its not like we don't know where its going every step of the way. Will Smith is quite good if for no other reason he is given great lines and his adorable (real life) son to play off of. Thandie Newton howver, seems to overact some of the time. The movie is good with a positive message, even if it follows a forseeable path. Sometimes luck - good or bad, plays a huge factor but faith is always important - faith in yourself above all. At the same time, this isn't something you NEED to rush to the theater for, but its not one you'll be disapointed in either.
